About Longform

Longform.org

Longform.org recommends new and classic non-fiction from around the web.

Articles can be read on a browser or saved to read later with Readability, Instapaper, Pocket or Kindle.

Article suggestions, including writers and magazines submitting their own work, are encouraged. Longform considers pieces over 2,000 words that are freely available online.

Longform was founded in 2010. Longform Fiction was added in December 2012. Additional sections to come.

Longform App

A reader designed specifically for longform content, the Longform App is the only magazine app you'll ever need:

Longform Podcast

The Longform Podcast is a weekly conversation with a non-fiction writer on how they tell stories.

Guests have included David Grann, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and Susan Orlean.

The podcast is produced by Longform in partnership with The Atavist and is hosted by Aaron Lammer, Max Linsky, and Evan Ratliff.
